The 2020 Christmas Parade of Lights theme will be a Cowboy Christmas!
No firearms, replica firearms, toy firearms, or any variation will be allowed in the parade.
Float height will be restricted to 15 feet due to power line and traffic light issues.
ALL WALKERS must be at least 13 years old. No exceptions.
In 2020 we will be closing Mena Street down early to restrict parking on the street. We ask that everyone park AWAY from Mena Street so that everyone can stay on the sidewalk and away from the floats and vehicles participating in the parade.
Float Judging Criteria:
Overall Appearance: name clearly visible, attracts and holds attention, neat and uniform, Christmas and theme represented
Construction Quality: put together well, difficulty level, safe and sturdy
Originality: original design, concept goes well with theme, use of movable parts, gimmicks, music, etc.
Theme: uses theme for float design, participants in character with theme, decorations go with theme
