The Mena Polk County Chamber of Commerce is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We are trying to help area residents stay informed of openings, closings, and all preventative measures currently in place. We thank our city and county officials for the measures they are taking to ensure the health and safety of area residents.
In the best interest of our members and participants, the Chamber has had to postpone a few of our events . We will be rescheduling these events for a later date:
The Annual Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting (March 18)
The Business After Hours at the Depot (March 19)
The Annual Member Appreciation Banquet and Community Awards (April 23)
We will announce any further postponements as the situation evolves.
We have an online survey available to help us better provide for the community and our members. You can find a link to this survey on our Facebook page. The results are automatically sent to us when you submit them. According to the survey, thus far, most businesses are planning to stay open and have offered delivery, curbside delivery, or other such options to limit public interaction. A few have opted to suspend business for now.
We are currently working to find the best solutions to help our members and community. Any and all suggestions and thoughts are helpful and we appreciate all responses. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a community, please try to refrain from unnecessary public interactions and travel, practice healthy safety measures, and please show consideration for your fellow residents.
Thank you all for supporting the Mena Polk County Chamber of Commerce!
