Helpful Business Tips

Ideas to Boost Business

  1. Try a live video- Do you have social media for your business? If you don't, you should. It's an excellent way to keep your customers informed and engaged with your business. Give an update, make an announcement, host a giveaway, there are so many options for live videos. Even just going live and talking to your followers about what's going on in the world and how you all feel about it will increase engagement.

  2. Offer contests or giveaways- This doesn't have to mean giving away a huge product or gift certificate, which is completely fine. It could be as simple as taking a picture and being featured on your site. Have followers take pictures of what they're doing during social distancing, or participate in the local "scavenger hunts" going on throughout town.

  3. Use a "Buddy System"- Like and share fellow business owners posts and pictures. You could even host an event or contest with another business to help promote each other.

  4. Reach out- If there are news outlet or organizations posting local updates, reach out to them. They may not be seeing your businesses posts and this will help them be as up to date and accurate as possible.

  5. Just ask- Do you want to offer more assistance to your customers? Ask them. Most people won't hesitate to offer ideas about how they believe your business can help the community. Post a poll or question for your audience to answer.
