    The Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting entries for the Positively Polk Photo & Video Contest. ​ We are accepting photos or videos that represent the Mena and Polk County areas. The winner of the photo contest and the winner of the video contest will each receive a $50 Gift Card. All photos and videos will be considered for use on our website, social media accounts, published materials, and other Chamber promotions. ​ MPCCC reserves the right to use all photo and video entries. There is no limit to pictures or videos you can submit. We welcome landscape shots, people, and images that portray our community. Please submit only local shots in and around the Polk County area. We are looking for material that captures the beauty of our community. We will accept all nature, travel, or individual material depicting events, objects, or activities connecting to the Polk County area. We love receiving entries of people that represent our community. However, if you are entering photographs or videos of people, you are responsible for getting their written approval to be in the photos and videos. To submit your entries: Fill out the form located on this page. Upload a high resolution photo (preferably 300 dpi) or video, include your name in the file name. (Files must be under 100 MB or they will have to be emailed.)     Chamber Ambassador Program Ambassadors serve as a plug-in to the social pipeline of our local business community. By welcoming new Chamber members, volunteering at Chamber events and promoting member involvement they are an invaluable member of the Mena/Polk Co. CoC team. What is an Ambassador? Chamber Ambassadors are individuals who help represent and promote the Chamber of Commerce as well as promote the chamber membership. The Ambassador Program consists of enthusiastic volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to help build member commitment and raise community awareness of Chamber activities and benefits. The program’s mission is to develop a core group representative of the membership for the purpose of supporting and promoting a sound business environment through successful retention of members and attraction of new members; active participation at Chamber of Commerce events; creation and implementation of ideas to ensure organization strength and facilitate growth; and establishment of a rapport among the Ambassadors that serves the Chamber by its example of integrity and good will among the entire membership. The Chamber Ambassador Committee is a chosen member group who volunteer their time to provide a crucial link between the Chamber, its members and the county at large. Ambassadors are in the center of the business activity of the community. They enjoy rewards of making new contacts, strengthening business relationships and accessing resources to further their own success. They represent the Chamber through referring new members, participating in events, such as ribbon cuttings, chamber coffees and many more support activities. These individuals should be ready and willing to promote the mission of the Chamber and its events to those it works with throughout the community. Ambassadors should: ​ ​ Be visible at all Chamber functions and events and set the example for a positive pro-business attitude by which all will prosper. Take on opportunities to implement new ideas that support the mission of the Chamber upon approval of the Chamber. ​ Ambassadors must:​ Fill out and submit an application. The Chamber Board of Directors will approve nine (9) Ambassadors for a one (1) year term. Ambassadors are eligible to serve two (2) consecutive terms. If applicable, Ambassadors must have their employer’s approval to participate in the program. Click for application! What is a Chamber Ambassador?
